Marketing & Communications Intern: Social Media Specialist

The Marketing & Communications Intern: Social Media Specialist for the Jeffries Center provides support to the Assistant Director of Events, Outreach, & Digital Strategy by assisting in the creation and delivery of this marketing and promotional material including: creating digital/print media to bolster the unit’s graphic portfolio, expanding and maintaining branding standards to develop a presence within the campus and larger community, and coordinating with students and professional staff to bolster channels of communication, collaborative initiatives, and opportunities for shared content creation. The Social Media Specialist will directly assist in elevating the Jeffries Center Social Media presence and platforms.

C-U at the Finish Line is your campus-connected podcast, designed to inform, inspire, and empower students throughout their university journey. Each episode blends fun, reflection, and practical insights, making it a go-to resource for anyone looking to stay informed and engaged.

We bring together faculty, campus partners, and students from across the university to spotlight support services, promote involvement opportunities, and share authentic student experiences. Whether you’re exploring new organizations, searching for academic resources, or simply want to hear relatable stories from your peers, C-U at the Finish Line has something for every student on campus.

We are seeking a responsible and trustworthy individual who takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will professionally represent the C-U At the Finish Line Podcast and the Jefferies Center with care and integrity. This role includes being entrusted with podcast equipment, and the candidate will be responsible for ensuring it is handled and stored safely.

The selected individual will report to Josh Brown weekly, or as needed, for podcast production. Ongoing training will be provided by Josh Brown to support the candidate’s growth and success in the role.

Upward Bound Study Center Coordinator

Under general supervision of the Pre-College Advisor for TRIO Upward Bound program, serve as the primary liaison for the Upward Bound program's Study Center, and is responsible for keeping the communication lines open between the administrative staff, tutors, and students. Also work closely with the administrative staff in finding new and innovative ways to operate the study center.
